When the owner of a Colorado Bakery, in 2012, refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple based on the baker’s religious beliefs, he not only went astray of the basic tenant of his faith but unwittingly did serious harm to all of Christianity.

As Christians we are called, by the words of Jesus, to be salt and light – to be an example that will spread love throughout the world. We are not called to condemn and judge, we are not called to shame, we are called to LOVE one another.

A born-again Christian is a person who chooses to have a personal relationship with God through the teachings of Jesus…. THAT’S IT!!!! 

A born-again Christian can be Catholic or Protestant or any denomination or none of the above. Ideally, a born-again person strives to follow the lead of Jesus as told to His disciples and as described by his Disciple John, “A new command I give you: Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another.” This alone should be the goal of every Christian – walking in love covers everything we encounter in our life journey – EVERYTHING.
